School Instructor Seminar in Lomé, Togo.
33 candidates (22 TOG, 7 NGR, 4 GHA) took part in the seminar in January. All of them were successful in passing the examination and qualifying for the title.
As part of the Lome Chess Festival 2020, the “Togo Chess Federation ” (FTDE) and the Chess Academy of Lome, organized, under the auspices of Fide, the EDU Commission and the African Chess Federation, from January 28 to 31 January 2019, in the Hotel Agla- Lome, a Fide School Instructors’ Seminar.
The main Lecturer was Bechir Messaoudi, IA, IO, FT and Fide Lecturer (TUN) , the Assistant and co-lecturer was Fumey, Enyonam Sewa IA,FI –TOG. The language of the Seminar (courses and exam) was French with translation into English.
The federation Togolaise des échecs and The Lome Chess Academy did their best for the success of the event. The 33 participants from Togo, Ghana and Nigeria enjoyed their stay and the lectures. Then, all of them participated to the exam and will get the title of SI after next approval of EDU and Fide.
