Are you a parent? You have probably heard that chess is good for children and there is a lot of research showing the benefits that accrue to a child’s educational development.

If you are not familiar with chess, and even if you are, you probably do not really know where or how to start teaching your children.

The Chess Scientific Research Institute of Armenia is a group of 18 educational experts, including teachers, researchers, psychologists, sociologists, and chess experts. They have produced a small booklet to get you started on a wonderful journey into the ocean of chess, where a gnat may drink and an elephant may bathe.
